REFUND/RETURN POLICY

At Harathi House, we are committed to delivering premium-quality, hand-block printed, naturally dyed garments, and meticulously curated apparel and accessories. Please review the following policies carefully before placing an order. By purchasing from our website, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

1. Refund Policy

1.1 Non-Refundable Circumstances

  • Refunds will not be granted for items that:

    • Exhibit signs of wear, use, or damage caused by the customer.

    • Are returned in a condition that is not original, or that has been altered, washed, or otherwise affected.

1.2 Conditions for Refund Eligibility
Refunds will only be considered under the following conditions:

  • You have received an incorrect or defective item.

  • The issue is reported within 48 hours of receipt via WhatsApp (+60 12-234 6337).

  • You provide an unboxing video showing the product condition upon delivery.

  • The product is unused, remains in its original packaging, and is returned within three (3) days of receipt, with verifiable proof.

1.3 Refund Process

  • Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, Harathi House will confirm the eligibility of the refund.

  • Refunds will be processed back to the account provided by the customer during the WhatsApp claim.

  • The time period for the refund will depend on your bank’s processing timeline.

  • Proof of refund will be provided within 5–7 working days.

  • Return shipping costs for eligible refunds will be borne by Harathi House.

2. Exchange Policy

2.1 Eligibility for Exchange

  • Exchanges are offered exclusively for size-related issues.

  • Customers must notify Harathi House within 48 hours of receiving the item to request an exchange.

  • Returned items must be sent back within three (3) days of receipt.

2.2 Shipping Responsibility

  • Shipping costs associated with exchanges are borne by the customer.

  • We strongly advise customers to:

    • Refer to our size guide prior to ordering.

    • Consider selecting one size larger to accommodate natural cotton movement post-wash.

    • Utilize alteration services if minor adjustments are required for a perfect fit.

2.3 Exchange Processing Time

  • Upon receipt of the returned item, exchanges will be processed within 4–5 business days, depending on product availability.

3. Order Cancellation

3.1 Policy

  • Once an order has been placed, cancellations or modifications are not permitted.  

3.2 Alternative option

  • Customers who wish to address issues with their order are requested to follow the Return or Exchange Policy outlined above for proper handling.

3.3 Refund for Cancellation

  • Amounts for eligible cancelled orders will be refunded within 5–7 working days.

  • Refund processing timelines may vary depending on the customer’s bank.

4. Important Notes

  • Handcrafted Garments: Our products are hand-block printed and naturally dyed. Slight irregularities, patchiness, or variations in color and pattern are intentional and are not considered defects.

  • Natural Cotton Behavior: As our fabrics are made from 100% natural cotton, minor shrinkage may occur after washing. This is normal and expected.

  • Fit and Flow Restoration: Garments generally regain their original fit and drape after ironing and being worn briefly.
